Term Life Insurance is a life insurance meant for a specific time period. As long as the premiums are paid, and death occurs before the date the term expires it will pay a set death benefit. 

Funerals can be expensive. Final expense insurance is meant to cover the cost of your funeral and not burden family members with the expense. It can cover the service, embalming, casket, cremation, and the obituary among other expenses that may occur.
